11 *Vintage*, Everyday Classic Style, Easy-to-Sew Big 4 Patterns #bigfour #vintagepatterns #sewing

Today I am sharing with you 11 Vintage Patterns from Simplicity, McCall’s, and Vogue that despite being reproductions from the 1940’s -1990’s, remain effortlessly in style and perfect for everyday sewing (and wearing!). From one of my favorites, McCall’s 8501 wrap dress to Simplicity 3049 dress/top/and pants set–I’m sharing the suggested fabrics, why these are so classic (in my opinion!), and the ease of sewing ratings. If you have other vintage Big 4 patterns you love and fall into this vintage category, please share! Happy vintage sewing and creating beautiful everyday garments you love to wear! : )

  1. Have you sewn up any of these classic, vintage patterns?! Any recommendations for classic, vintage patterns you love? I love these vintage pattern reproductions and have had sew much fun working with some of them. Excited to try them all out! Happy sewing and creating to you!

  2. I love these patterns! Also love the anecdote about your grandmother. My mom taught me so much about sewing and now that she has passed away and I have inherited her machine, I’m getting back into it. It’s the best way to keep someone’s memory alive ❤

  3. Your red and white sleeveless dress would look cute with white tennis shoes for when you have to run errands or grocery shop.

  4. I just want to thank you for all the amazing content you share—I truly enjoy your videos! I would love to keep following them even more, but I noticed that not all of them have the Spanish audio track available. It would be wonderful if you could enable it in more of your videos, as it would help people like me enjoy and learn from them even better.

Thank you so much for your time and dedication!
