For the dress you have on, I have a similar figure to you and I have to cut the very top of the pattern bodice in a smaller size (because your upper bust measurement doesn’t change much), then grade out to the larger sizes to get the full bust. I use love notions alot, for their plus sizes. The fold in the middle at the neckline tells you, it is too big right there. Otherwise I love, love love this and all your other dresses. You are so inspiring – let’s go sew dresses!!! yahoo

I sewed a twirl dress for my daughter as my first pattern. But I broke my machine so it’s in the shop. I bought the lane pants pattern and I am going to give that a try when I get it back.
