  1. My grandma taught me when I was a child and now I’m relearning so I can make clothes for my little girls. So excited to find your channel

  2. Ease in a pattern has always messed me up. I am between a 10 and 12. Finished measurements are my correct size. Not sure is finished size includes ease or not. Example finished size is 39 hip I am a 39 hip. Will I still be able to sit, or will it be too tight?

  3. Just bought a pattern to stitch up a robe, and double gauze fabric. Zig zagged the edges, washed and dried, ready to iron and cut out pattern pieces but worried about destroying the pattern. I’m thinking it would be wiser to trace the pattern onto (parchment) paper and leave the original intact. I took a sewing class forever ago and know about notches (cutting OUT not IN on the fabric so you have a diamond point to line up, not a notch in your seem allowance) and I pay attention to fold lines and grainlines but that is the extent of my knowledge and experience. I found your video hoping it would essentially be a “So [sew] you bought a sewing pattern and fabric… Now what? How to start and where to begin” video. This video was helpful! But not quite the info I feel I need to get started. Off to your channel in hopes of more info!
